Take a mindful beach walk to enhance your five senses to improve your writing skills as well as to relax to the crashing waves, chat with new friends, find shells. The beach is usually quiet this time of year and the air smellsl so fresh and salty.

Brainstorm, research, create a workable outline

1:30-2:45: Character Arc Made Easy--Lori

Save time and effort by figuring out each main character’s external and internal conflicts, so the character changes from the beginning to the end of the story. This technique works for plotters and pantsers, and for fiction and nonfiction.

3:00—Labyrinth Field Trip-Deepen Character Arc—weather permitting--Lori

Drive to a peaceful labyrinth, nestled among  gently blowing palm trees, coastal foliage, lovely birdsong, and a trickling fountain. Learn how to deepen your character arc by using the spiritual labyrinth to uncover external plot twists that will forever change your characters internal growth. (approximately an 8-10-minute drive)

She will discuss the role and benefits of literary agents and will take questions. Literary agents are extremely busy, yet she is looking forward to talking with us. Don't miss this one!

Draw your reader into your setting and story by tapping into your five senses. Make your reader feel they are present in your story, sitting beside your characters.

This mindful marsh walk is a unique experience. A scenic path winds through wooded, coastal parkland, and over crosswalks with stunning views of marsh and water.
