STUNNING VIEWS of the ATLANTIC OCEAN
The stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean have always been Lori's favorite. The North Carolina Outer Banks are loaded with pirate lore, shipwrecks--it is called the Graveyard of the Atlantic for good reason!--and is also known for its pristine but rugged beaches. The lighthouse is within a ten-minute drive as well as tours available to see the wild horses that Lori writes about in her novels. There are two wonderful bookstores nearby, one housing a delicious coffee shop.
